The Qing Dynasty is the summit of literary creations about the Chinese ancient satire. The works of this period not only are characterized by the quantity, but also have the high degree of ideological content and artistic achievements, which formed the highest level of the ancient satire. The satire works of Qing Dynasty was mainly produced during mid and late periods. The works created in mid are less man the period of late, and Unofficial History of Officialdom is the leading work., which produced in the period of Emperor Qianlong, while Exposure of the Official World , Odd Things Witnessed over Twenty Years, The Travels of Lao Can , Niehaihua are the representatives of the late period. At present, the scholar study towards the satire novels of Qing Dynasty is relatively less, and mainly focuses on the mid period work, which lacks in the study of the evolution process from the point of development. The author tries to do a comparative analysis about the five important satire works mentionedabove, according to the guides of the dialectical materialism and historical materialism. Thus inquire into the subject range of Qing satire novels and the evolution procession of satire techniques, seek and explore the internal mechanism and external conditions of the evolution.
