While anyone using languages, there is mistake that different expressions will be had for various reasons. Understanding, realizing these mistakes, can not merely improve personal quality, it is an important respect of standardizing linguistics too. This text structures the new analysis frame on the basis of forefathers' relevant research, classifies faulty wording or formulation from three dimension angles, makes detailed analysis of many sentences, explains the cause of emerging faulty wording or formulation. An object of study of faulty wording or formulation is ill-formed sentences, including parts of speech error, inappropriate phrase, and error of integral part of the sentences. We may explain the appearance of this part from Chinese language inherent characteristics.Semantic faulty wording or formulation includes discollocation, duplicated semantics, semantic ambiguity, semantic indistinct, and semantic contradictory. The cause is language users have not accurately understood the semantic meaning of language symbols. For example Chinese have no shape change and parts of speech relation with more than one pair between the composition to cause basic reason, parts of speech of misapplication. The author discusses pragmatic faulty wording or formulation in two aspects: one is mother tongue communication, the other is multinational-culture communication. The cause of this part is very complex, including psychological barriers, social barriers, cultural barriers, etc. After the analysis, we draw the conclusion that the acceptable sentences are not equivalent to the sentences conforming to grammar. People bring semantic dispelled mechanism into play according to semantic clearing up, turn the non-conforming to grammar sentences into acceptable sentences, which is the internal cause of long-standing faulty wording or formulations.
