Originating from the system of ceremony and propriety of Zhou Dynasty, Sacrifical music is the special music used in palace ceremonies and religion rites such as offering sacrifices to gods and ancestors. Court music especially emphasized solemnity in politics and orthodoxy of the Confucian's ideal so that it could reflect situations of culture, politics and society of Dynasty. This paper mainly discusses the difference in the Sacrifical Music between Tang and Song.The main body of the paper expounds the different features between the Sacrifical Music of Tang Dynasty and Song Dynasty from four aspects that the processes of executions, the respective characters, and the attitudes of the emperors and ministers about the Sacrifical Music, at last, the paper discussed the social and culture reason influence on Tang and Song dynasty.
