Shen Study From Xiangxi Novels Subtle Beauty

We often discover various aspects in the identical objects according to different views. In the same manner, we could perceive different feelings and tastes in even identical author or identical work. Analytic is an academic approach to try to analyze authors and their works in this kind of point of view. In this sense, Shen cong wen and his works has been attracting very important academic interests and are now demanding profound further studies. Therefore, this essay aims to try to analyze the author, Shim jong mum and his literary inner world with the point of microscopic view.In general, authors would like to express his own view of life in their works. Bian cheng, one of Shen cong wen's masterpieces, suggests his own attitude towards life and its value. In the point of view of aesthetics, the value he has tred to embodied in his work could be said as an implicity valuing the inner life. The value consistently pursued in his novels is the beauties of life transmitted from the tradition. However, Shen cong wen could not be simply considered as a conservative or a reactionist. It shouldn't be overlooked that he has tried to pursue the space-and -time transcending beauty and value transmitted from perpetual history.These transcendental beauties and values have been melted into implicity as an inner principle in his works. Bian cheng, his masterpiece has exquisitely presented this principle of implicit. While the author Shen cong wen has personally undergone Pekin's very changeable circumstances, he has been ironically conscious of the value of 'consistancy' and decided to protect it.
