Han Hanzheng On The Discourse Of Omitted And Reference Cohesion

This dissertation discusses the problems of the omission and reference cohesion in Korean and Chinese political comment according to the theory of text linguistics. Through investigating the means of Korean and Chinese political comment, the author compares the types and rules of the omission and reference cohesion in Korean and Chinese political comment.This dissertation consists of four chapters:The first chapter: introduces the object, theoretical foundation and all that of the research.The second chapter: discusses the types of omission cohesion in Korean and Chinese text. and the differences between them. The omission in Korean and Chine text consists of the nominal omission, the verbal omission, sentence omission and so on. Because the collection of verbal omission is not enough, this dissertation only discusses the nominal omission and sentence omission.The third chapter: discusses the reference cohesion in Korean and Chinese context and the differences between them. Reference cohesion is also a vital means can be divided in to personal reference, social reference, indication reference, time reference, word reference and discourse reference. When we trans late Korean into Chinese, we should consider the differences between the two languages, especially the ways of omission and reference, dealing with the specific problems. Korean applies omission very much, while Chinese applies supplements more.The forth chapter: the conclusion, sums up the content of this dissertation.
