The professor Howard Gardner of Harvard University developed Multiple Intelligences theory(MI) in his book 《The structrue of intelligiences》. He presented that human being has eight kinds of independent and equal intelligiences at least according to his observation, analysis and lots of test quantities .Everyone has the inherent potentiality of owing these eight intetligiences at some degree, and everyone's intelligience is multiple. Multiple Intelligences theory has been valued by many teachers and educators, occupying an important place in modern worldwide education reform.In recently, our country is spreading quality education, promote to culture all students'comprehensive quality and the ability to find , solve problems. Multiple Intelligences theory advocates to develop student's multiple intelligences. At this point, Multiple Intelligences theory and the aim of quality education coincide. Multiple Intelligences theory supplys the theory basis for our quality education, gives us many inspirations at the same time. People pay much more attention to how to promote our curriculum construction by using Multiple Intelligences theory. Many schools have fulfilled the research of how to practice the MI theory. Every subject is researching how to apply the MI theory in the teaching.This thesis focuses on this point,explains how to use the MI theory in the music teaching by presentting many teaching cases and practices. The thesis includes three parts: introduction part, theory part and case part. In the introduction part, it talks about significance,methods of the research, and analysis the condition of music classroom teaching nowadays. The first chapter is belonging to theory part, it deals with the features of MI theory and music subject, analyzes the enlightenments of MI theory to music classroom teaching. The second and third chapters are belonging to case part. The second chapter explores that constructing multiple teaching surroundings,using multiple teaching method, arranging multiple teaching tasks in the course, to fully motive every student's advantage intelligences for studying, to improve the efficiency of the music classroom teaching by students and teachers cooperration. The third chapter researches the teaching segment, teaching method and music learning area by real cases, lists the ways to promote all kinds intelligences of students well-balanced developing by music classroom teaching, to develope quality education.The MI theory supplys new viewpoint for our music classroom teaching. This thesis uses my teaching practices as the first materials, pays attention to the balance of theory and practice, undertakes research and exploration about the classroom teaching objectively, makes our music education to be the kind of music education that trains student's advantage intelligences, ensures all students getting universally development simultaneously.
