This article studies on achievement motivation, locus of control and their relationship with parental educational mode of junior middle school students by the methods of questionnaire, educational experiment and interview.Compare means analysis shows that there exists a significant difference in junior middle school students'achievement motivation items, such as grade, academic achievement, the father's educational level and family economic status. The difference in achievement motivation is not significant between boys and girls, nor between single child and non-single-child. And there exists significant differences in junior middle school students'locus of control items, such as grade, sex, academic achievement, and so on. There is a significant difference between father and mother's mode of educational for boys and girls.The result indicates that there exists extremely significant correlation between achievement motivation and locus of control among junior middle school students. The study also shows that not only achievement motivation but also the locus of control had significant correlation with parental educational mode. Regression analysis shows that FF1, MF1 and MF2 are beneficial for promoting junior middle school students'achievement motivation, while FF4 and MF5 play opposite parts. . Regression analysis also indicates that FF4, MF5 and FF6 are contributive to promoting the junior middle school students'external control level, while FF1 and MF1 are useful to promote their internal control level.By this study, we can obtain some helpful announcements for family education and school education which are pointed out in this article.
