"the Sound Of Norway, National Voice"

Edward·Grieg was the founder of the school of Norwegian nationality also one of the most achievement composers at the school of Europe nationality in the latter half of 19th century. His most outstanding contribution was the life devotion in bring honors to the Norway national spirit and pushing the Norway's folk music to the world stage. In all his works, the inditing of Lyric Piece did not expess exquisite and excellent performance skills, but his Lyric Piece had the fresh happy melody, the rich sound vocabulary and rich characteristic performance, especial the music expressive and the unique charm of Norwegian folk music, all of that attracted many audiences around the world. "The Grieg Piano Lyric Piece To elect" was published by the people's music publishing house in January, 1981 and compiled 28 piece Lyric Pieces in this book. These works could not reflect the panorama of Grieg's piano creation, but basically summarized the soul of his Lyric Piece works. Simultaneously these works in this book were also the favor of pianists frequently. This article take the 28 piece Lyric Pieces as the main analysis object, to summarize the creation background, creation idea and national spirit of Grieg's Lyric Piece. From analyzing the sound, the mode adjusts aspect and the rhythm, we summaried there are three kind of style characteristics about Lyric Piece~"Expresses feelings freely" the romanticism style, "The folk characteristic" nationalism style and "Dim elegant" impressionism style. Through observing and emulating the different pianist to play, and combining our own performance experience, we analysized the 28 piece Lyric Pieces from performance skills point respectively, and proposed some personal advice to performance skills and music expressive, which could help the player to catch hold of the characteristic and experss the spirit exactly.
