Regarded as "literary and artistic wonders of Chinese television", CCTV Spring Festival Gala provides a stage for all the ethnic groups at the end of the year. Programs which reflected the minority culture is an important component of the gala. Inclusiveness on the content and diversity of form made the gala an important manifestation of the minority culture.This thesis analyzed the advantages and effects of the gala on minority culture communication. And then found out the problems and pointed out the improvement methods, promoting the research on the relationship between the TV media and minority culture.This thesis is mainly about the research on the gala's minority cultural communication stratagem, encouraging the ethnic minority areas develop their culture through the TV media. I also want to rouse the attention on the minority culture and give the CCTV an important reference.This thesis is composed of five following parts:The first part reported the developing progress of the gala and the minority programs, and divided the programs into different categories.The second part analyzed the inclusiveness and diversity of the gala and its promotion to the minority culture. The third part pointed out the effects of the gala, and demonstrated the actual effects of "promoting national unity and social harmony" "constructing multi-cultural" and "promoting transnational dissemination" by the vivid examples.The last two parts pointed out the disadvantages of the gala and provided the countermeasures. Following these is the conclusion.The characteristic of the research decides the main methods including case analysis method, data analysis method, synthesis method, etc.
