To foreign students the phonic teaching has been the key point of the Chinese teaching . Under the instruction of the contrastive analysis theory, the interlanguage theory, the error analysis theory, and the psycholinguistics theory, through the analysis to the tape recording of 12 Thai elementary students, this article discovers that why there are so many errors in the initial, the final, and the tone pronunciation. After that it will finally find some ways to resolve these errors.This paper is divided into six chapters.The first chapter, the introduction part, elaborates the reasons and the significances of selecting this topic. It concisely introduced the present and the history situation about the studies on the errors to the Thai student pronunciation, and simultaneously elaborated briefly the teaching theory.The second chapter, stresses on the comparative analysis of the Chinese and Thai language structure systems. After understanding about that, we made the contrastive analysis of the two languages from the initial consonant, the final and the intonation aspects. Then we had the theoretical forecast to the possible errors of about the Chinese pronunciation of the Thai elementary students.The third chapter, we introduced the gathering process in detail. It's about the designing of the test material, the test object, the sample gathering and the analysis in the material.The fourth chapter, is mainly carries on the detailed analysis of the Thai elementary students' custom pronunciation. Through the analysis of the students' recording test results, we had the detailed analysis to the single initial consonant, the single final and the phrase initial consonant, the final, as well as the intonation. At the same time, we made a rank division by the difficulty of the errors.The fifth chapter, analyzes the causes of the pronunciation errors. We analyzes it from three aspects: the phonetic systems of the two languages, the objective environment's influences as well as the subjective factors of learners. Finally we proposes the corresponding resolvements in the article.The sixth chapter, conclusion. It's the summary to the full text, which pointed out that there were many insufficiencies in it. Hoping earnestly the grant instruction from every teacher.In view of the fact that our teaching experience is insufficiently, and there are many problems in understanding the Thai language, and the causes may not very accurate, so the teaching countermeasure which proposed also needs to improve in the practices and communications. Hoped that this article can be engaged in the help to the Chinese teaching colleague.
