Beijing School A Cultural Standpoint, Of The Shanghai Urban Novel

In the 1930s, the City Writings of Jing School and Hai School in the Chinese modern literature stage are like two miracles in city writings, colored the Chinese modern literature. The idea of this paper is that through the analysis & interpretation on Jing School's and Hai School's city writings, clarify the cultural standpoint of these two schools' city novel writing.Here is a general introduction:The foreword gives a general introduction of the research achievements that Jing School & Hai School have done, also instituted the research direction and clue, meanwhile, interpret two important notions with necessity.The first chapter contains two main aspects: one is, discusses the Localization standpoints and historical cultural origins, also states the reason of Localization standpoint of Jing School in its city novel writing. Second, analyse how Hai School city novel is produced and its historical background, then probe into its substance modernity and aesthetic modernity in its writings, especially referred to the Localization in its aesthetic modernity.The second chapter through the interpret from Jing School's writing of cityimage——Origin of Sin, and the analysis of Shen Congwen——a key writer of JingSchool, further demonstrated the firm Localization standpoint of Jing School.The third chapter through meticulous observation on the complex city image created by the Hai School writers, a detailed analysis of his works to convey the substance of modernity and modern aesthetic, and further explore its potential Locatization in its modern aesthetic.The continuation is a conclusion of the similarity and difference of Jing School writing and Hai School writing, with Hai School inheritor Wang An'yi's 1990s novel, states the Localization in early Hai School didn't stop.
