After the World WarⅡ, America faced serious challenges of how to place the great number of veterans. The federal government passed a series of bills, and established and enforced full scale welfare policies toward the veterans, including income-ensuring, employment-ensuring, enducation-ensuring, housing-ensuring and veterans preference. The policies placed the veterans effectively, eased the employment stress, and maintained the social stability. Furthermore, it also stimulated American economic rapid prosperity, improved the educational level of the whole nation presented by the veterans, and offered tremendous talented persons.
