Niu heliang site is an very important part of the Hong shan Culture. The jade discovered from the tomb in Niu heliang site have a better layer relations. The thesis researched on the base of the published archaeological reports and the former studies of other scholars. The thesis analyzed the classification and the assemblage of the Hongshan jade.According to the analysis of the typology research on tomb category and culture period,the thesis try to discuss the tradition of using jade.The thesis contained five chapters together.The first chapter is introduction;The second chapter is the general condition of the jade;The third chapter is analysis of the tombs and using of the jade;The fourth chapter is some discussions;And the last is concluding.The thesis point out that the jades of Hongshan culture were made as a mysteryand another criterion of jade is as decoration.
