Niuheliang site is the most famous site in the late period of Hongshan culture. The late remains of the site are an important basis for exploring the pre-historical society in China. This architectural thoughts, animal jade articles and tombs embodied in the late relics of the Niuheliang site and makes a concrete discussion on the assertion that the Niuheliang site already has the basic elements of an ancient civilized country. The architectural ideas of the Niuheliang site are related to the Yi culture. The layout of the space conforms to Fuxi's congenital figure of absurdity, reflecting the view of Yin Yang's concept."Temple, altar, and tomb" is an impotant part of the architecture of the Niuheliang site. The appearance of the "ten" font of the Temple of Goddess reflects the Shangyin concept of "Guicang Yi";The three-ring stone altar reflects the heaven and man are united; The tombs reflects the center of the statue. The animal jade reflect the primitive worship of the ancestors of the late Hongshan culture. The jade-based pigs embody Beidou worship;Birds and eagles reflect the worship of the sun;Shells, silkworms and pods embody reproductive worship;Turtles and cicada reflect the worship of life. The tombs reflect the special tomb system of the Niuheliang site and the profound changes in society at that time. There are three main tombs systems:"only burial jade",second burial;complex and regular tomb structure. In addition, the social changes reflected in the tombs are:social division of labor, strong sense of hierarchy, monopoly of the worship rights.
