Study Of Civil Society Organizations In The Process Of Democratization In China

One of the important goals of the democratization process in our country is to train the perfect citizen society, while the folk groups are important tools and approaches to achieve political participation and express interest. In fact, there exists an interactive relationship between the democratization process and folk organizations. On the one hand, the democratization process is a process which makes democratic values a system. Democracy is helpful to protect individual rights, constrain government power to intervene economy and individuals, maintain social stability and eventually promote economic development, which is a condition due to the development of folk organizations. On the other hand, the development of folk organizations is good for cultivating right consciousness, developing independent and sound personality, strengthening democratic consciousness, and promoting democratization process at last. In short, folk organizations can boost democratization process of democratization, whereas the democratization process is supporting the development of folk organizations.As for China, the folk organization is non-spontaneous and non-independent, meanwhile democratic consciousness is poor, legal position is not clear, and social supervision mechanism is poor as well, which are shackles of its development. So, improving socialist market system, cultivating independent citizen consciousness, improving the relevant laws and regulations, promote the democratic autonomy, improving the ability of the mechanism to express interest, and strengthening supervision are necessary strategy to develop social democracy , encourage folk organizations to develop and innovative the managing mode .This paper is divided into five chapters. The first chapter is introductory. This paper briefly describes the social background and the reasons of the research, esp. introduces the research about the subject at home and abroad.?The second section is the description of the democratization process and the rise of folk organizations. After the definition of the democracy and democratization process and the folk organizations, it describes the historical evolution process on China's democratization process and folk organizations in three periods.?The third section is the analysis of how the folk organization can boost democratization process of democratization, whereas the democratization process is supporting the development of the folk organization in six aspects.?The fourth section is the analysis of the current situation and some problems to be solved.? The fifth section presents the countermeasures and proposals. Improving the socialist market economy system, perfecting the system of fiscal and tax policies, improving political developing environment, fostering independent citizen consciousness, launching related laws and regulations, and improving supervision mechanism of folk organizations are necessary measures.
