Study On The Legal Protection Of Farmland In Guizhou Province

Keeping the right amount of farmland is the global issue which concerns the survival and development of human beings, the country’s economic and social sustainable development. The reduction of farmland will inevitably lead to the shortage of food supply and do harm to the ecological benefits and social benefits.With the rapid growth of Guizhou’s economy in recent years,the contradiction of farmland protection becomes increasingly acute. Although a very stringent farmland protection system has been carried out in our province, the number of farmland continues to decrease,and led to a series of problems like the decline in quality,ecological destruction and so on. We must be fully aware of the present situation and causes to solve the difficulties in protecting farmland in Guizhou by seeking effective methods. This study was based on the above purposes. After reading analyzing,collecting data and making research both home and abroad I started my project. There are three parts and a total of more than thirty thousand words in this paper.The first part is to elaborate the definition,theory,value and significance of farmland.The second part starts from the basic situation and the significance of farmland in Guizhou province by using a large number of theoretical basis and practical data objectively to analyze the land situation and to prove that it is not optimistic, and comprehend the necessity of protecting the land in Guizhou. Aiming at the serious situation of Guizhou province farmland damage,the serious consequences,together with the present situation of legal protection of farmland in Guizhou and practice,this paper expounds the legal protection of farmland in Guizhou which is the imperfect legal system. There are still rooms to make better laws and regulations.The part three summarizes the existing agricultural land protection through experience, land protection problems in Guizhou Province, proposed the construction and improvement of agricultural land protection system in Guizhou recommendations. By combining their actual situations in Guizhou Province,a clearcriteria should be used in conversion uses in Guizhou. Suggestions are given to issues like desertification which is obviously the most important thing we suffered.For the protection of agricultural land, we need to build on incentives, make clear subjects,specify a framework to determine the award criteria,fund sources,and fulfill the compensation management. Laws or relevant regulations about farmland protection should be placed on the top. supplement and local laws and regulations need to be strengthened. At the same time, judicial proceedings used to protect the rights of citizens and supervision need to be used to build long-term mechanism for the legal protection of agricultural land in Guizhou Province.
