Research On Anti - Terrorism Cooperation Between China And India

Since 1990s, China’s development gets in an all-around way, include of politic, economic, military, technology and etc. The international terrorism organization is looking China as the main target gradually. In recent years, the terrorism attack originally focused on XinJiang and Tibet is extending to the inland gradually. The harm it brings to the country and people is countless. The central government and everybody must keep eye on the terrorism attack, study the Law of Anti-Terrorism’s content, spirit seriously and put it into the brain, insist on the spirit of the rule of law, enhance the couter-terrorism to avoid the "Kunming’s attack in March 1st" happen frequently.Nowadays, both international and domestic terrorist organizations are changing fast. They are connecting with each other and bring lots of challenges to the anti-terrorism:1. From border-land to inland.2. The component of the organization is getting complex.3. The way to recruitment is easily and technologically.Since India gained independence in 1947, its unique national and social condition lead to some unstable undercurrents beneath the prosperous and opening society, especially religious conflict between the Hinduism which takes the dominant position and has the most population and the Muslim which increases sharply in large numbers of people. All these factors provide opportunities and hotbed for terrorism. What’s more, because of three wars occurred between India and Pakistan, national relationship is strained and territory is disputed. India shares the same national interests with the United States in Afghanistan and the Middle East. And its local army force always becomes the reserve force of the US army, which causes the attention and hate from the international terrorism.Now, Chinese government realized that it is impossible to wipe out the terrorism by itself only. The effect way is to enhance the cooperation with other countries. India is an important neighbor. China and India’s traditional friendship is good. The situation of anti-terrorism is similar. There are good foundations and conditions for the two countries’ further anti-terrorism cooperation, as the relationship between them is getting better and better.To analysis how to enhance the cooperation with India will be very useful not only to the integral research of China’s participation of international anti-terrorism cooperation, but also will provide the experiences and ideas to China’s join of the regional and international anti-terrorism. It will also take the positive impact to the all-aspects of cooperation between these two countries include of anti-terrorism.
