| The Bangladesh-China-India-Myanmar Economic Corridor is one of the mutual cooperation projects under the structure of the "Belt and Road" initiative. After completion,it can radiate to the three major sub-regions of East Asia,South Asia and Southeast Asia. The four countries along the corridor have different levels of economic development, are highly complementary, and have great potential for cooperation. However,as a long-term and complex system project, the corridor faces many bottlenecks and challenges in the process of advancing, and progress is slow.In view of the complicated domestic and international situations in India,Bangladesh, and Myanmar, the regions where the three countries are located have become dormant grounds for international terrorist organizations such as Al-Qaida and the Islamic State.Terrorist forces at home and abroad tend to converge, and terrorist activities occur frequently in areas along the route. This makes it difficult to construct corridors that were originally underdeveloped. Therefore,it is necessary for countries along the corridor to use counter-terrorism cooperation as a breakthrough point to reduce security threats from economic corridor cooperation and to promote economic development in the areas along the route. At present, the four countries along the route have not carried out substantive cooperation in non-traditional security fields. This has to some extent condoned the development and growth of terrorist forces at home and abroad, and the risk of terrorist attacks is high for this reason. In this paper, the author takes the terrorist activities along the Bangladesh-China-India-Myanmar Economic Corridor as the research object, supported by the theory of synergy, analyzes the situation of terrorist activities facing the economic corridor, and proposes corresponding counter-terrorism cooperation countermeasures..First,through the literature research method and the comparative research method, the current practices of relevant organizations that have achieved significant results in regional anti-terrorism cooperation are analyzed to gain useful experience.Secondly, after using Arc GIS analysis tools to quantitatively analyze the situation of the anti-terrorism struggle in the region, combining the existing cooperation experience and the characteristics of terrorist activities in the region,we finally put forward a strategy for the countries along the corridor to coordinate their response to terrorism. This paper is divided into six parts. The first part is the introduction. This part discusses in detail the historical background and significance of analysis and research, the actual situation of global current research, and the main ideas and modes of analysis and research;the second part discusses in detail the basic principles of conjoint studies, and analyzes the current anti-terrorism cooperation offices of countries along the corridor from a macro perspective.Difficulties faced;the third part introduces the anti-terrorism cooperation model of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, the Association of Southeast Asian Nations and the European Union, and extracts advanced cooperation experience from them, and provides reference for the anti-terrorism cooperation of the Bangladesh-China-India-Myanmar Economic Corridor,Research and analysis of data and information of historical terrorist attacks in Myanmar, clarify the level of terrorism-related risks in the areas along the route, and further analyze the synergy of the activities of both parties from the perspectives of terrorist activities and anti-terrorism cooperation;the fifth part is based on the three principles of synergy Put forward the counter-terrorism cooperation countermeasures in the Bangladesh-China-India-Myanmar Economic Corridor, which is to stimulate synergy, optimize the parameters of intelligence order, and exert the self-organizing function;Part 6summarizes the important conclusions learned from the full text, and points out the deficiencies in analysis and research and future expectations. |
