Application Of Police Dog Technology In Public Safety

Security is the cornerstone supporting the order of human society. Public safety has become an important part of social life by pooling the interests of the population. Although the connotation and denotation of public safety are very broad, it always is a major problem in the human society and economic life. In recent years, the public security situation in international environment is worsening, and China’s public security problems are increasingly serious. Various problems in public security have imposed a negative impact on the credibility of the government, economic development, community relationships and even international political relations of our country. These problems our government and people have to face have become increasingly urgent to solve. Police work is an important instrument in maintaining public security and dealing with the safety problems. As an important part of police work, police dog technique plays an irreplaceable and unique role in maintaining social stability. It helps to prevent and crack down on crimes, protect people’s lives and personal property, and promote people’s happiness and work. It is an effective way for the police department to provide public safety services.On the basis of providing an overview of police dog technologies in dealing with problems of public safety in both domestic and foreign countries, this study focuses on the systematic analysis of using technologies of police dogs in public safety cases. By revealing the current situation of using police dog technologies in such cases and analyzing various cases in Kunming, it poses the questions about how to effectively make full use of the police dog technologies, analyzes the causes obstructing the use of such technologies, and puts forward a sound policy proposal for promoting the role of police dog technologies in dealing with public safety problems in order to provide better public safety services.
