A Study On The Military Education Of The Military Army In Yunnan Army

Yunnan Military Academy is one of the most important military schools at the end of Qing Dynasty and the start of the Republic of China, which cultivated numerous military elites and achieved great successes in China’s early military education, military events and political affairs. Therefore, the study on Yunnan Military Academy’s training system and education gains are of great value.This dissertation mainly use the methods of literature and history study to find the development of Yunnan Military Academy. According to the historical materials of this military academy, we can infer to the essence of military management system and elite cultivation model and the influences of that to Chinese military education. In addition, from the personal experiences we can provided more useful evidences to those conclusions.Concerning to the management of Yunnan Military Academy, which is mainly focus on the clear organization structure, detailed enrollment plan, full-rounded management system, international staff resources and reasonable expenditure budget. All of these made the solid foundation of Yunnan Military Academy’s teaching activities. As for its elite cultivation model, its features are the openness of enrollment, the advancement of course curriculum, the institutionalization of management, the leading position of teaching methods and the internationalization of staff resources. Yunnan Military Academy made great contribution to the founding of other military schools and the process of Chinese military education in modern times. Furthermore, the development of Chinese military events and political affairs in recent times also witnessed the harvest of Yunnan Military Academy.
