AbstractThe world strategic structure evolves after the Cold War. The United States?Asia-Pacific strategy, of which the Containment Strategy and the Equilibrium Strategy are characteristic, also shows significant changes. In the early 90?s, the United States put forward to set up a strategic conception of "Pactific Community"on the base Of North America and under the support of Japan, Korea , the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) , and Australia. It then made some partial adjustment soon afterwards. This thesis makes a concrete analysis on the main content and the features of the United States?Asia-Pacific strategy, and the reason that the States made such adjustment. |
