Kmt's Mainland Policy During The Study

Hongkong and Macau returned smoothely back to China．OurChinese people are now confronted more strikingly with the reclamation ofTaiwan．Kuoming tang's mainland policy has always been the majorfactor which influences the cross一strait relations in recent 50 years．Theparty in power in Taiwan now is not Kuoming tang,Whose mainlandpolicy still exerts influences on cross一strait relations．Therefore,it is ofgreat realistic slgnlflcance for our chinese to make systematicgeneralization and comparative study of Kuoming tang's mainland policyaud to make correct policies on Taiwan． The thesis includes three parts．Inthe first part,it mainly observesthe historcal transition of KMT's mainland policy of the three periods,and introduces the main contents of different periods of it． In the second part,the thesis makes a comparative study betweenJiang's and Lee TengHui's mainland policy．The similar characteristicsbetween them are graduality,aggressiveness and permeability．On theother hand,the different aspects between them are the view of China'sunity,the foreign relations and ideologies． In the third part,the thesis ratlonally analyses the mutual effectsbetween KMT's mainland policy and cross一strait relations．The mutualeffects contains both positive and negative influences．That is to say,weneed have a clear knowledge on KMT's mainland policy．...
