A Historical Survey Of China's Social Modernization Of Positioning, With The Times

Under the background of the world modernization history, this thesis makes a tentative and preliminary exploration of the varied reasons for China's loss of opportunities of developing social modernization. This thesis then sets the contemporary location of China's modernization in the setup of the world modernization. The author of the thesis holds that China's social modernization is still in the important historical period of restarting and comprehensive develop-ment. However, it is a best─conditioned and big─leap modernization. Therefore, in terms of a historical investigation, China's modernization is one of the important components of the world modernization, a new model for contemporary socialist modernization, agood example of modernization for agricultural nations, and a suc-cessful pattern for those heavily─populated and multinationed countries, which has opened a new path for the developing countries to be modernized. In the last part of the thesis, the author objectively analyzes the several key and prominent problems faced in the process of China's socialist modernization and puts forward eight fundamental counter─measures. This study will surely be of great theoretical and practical significance in building up socialist modernization with Chinese characteristics.
