With the development of communication and transportation, the globalization of world economy has come into reality, and the internationalization is getting more and more necessary to every enterprise. Facing the opportunity and challenge, Chinese enterprises must do their best to join the increasing international competition. In this paper, based on the analysis on the present conditions of Chinese enterprises and the theory&practice of the internationalization, we will try to find the key success factors and make suggestions about the internationalization process and measures for Chinese enterprises to do international business. There are six chapters in this paper. Chapter 1: General introduction, including the purpose of the writer, the definition of some important concepts, and the background of the internationalization. Chapter 2: Analysis on the theories of the internationalization, including the essential motives and theory support of the international izat ion. Chapter 3: Selection of internationalization options and process, including the introduction of various internationalization options, the internationalization process of American enterprises and Japanese enterprises. Chapter 4: Design of the internationalization process for Chinese enterprise, including the present conditions of Chinese enterprises and the steps to internationalize. Chapter 5: Suggestion about the internationalization measures to Chinese enterprises, including General Merchants, M&A, Brand Operations, E-Commerce and Strategic Alliance. Chapter 6: Case analysis, including the feature of internationalization of Legend and Haier, two successful Chinese enterprises.
