Strategy is the pattern of actions managers employ to achieve organizational objectives; a company?actual is partly planed and partly reactive to changing circumstances. Strategic management includes matching strategy, implementing strategy, and evaluating strategy. In this paper, strategic management based on value chain analysis is carried out. Value chain identifies the activities , functions, and business processes that have to be performed in designing, producing, marketing, delivering, and supporting a product and service. Through value chain analysis, managers match strategies, implement strategies, and define strategic evaluation contents and indexes.This thesis consists of four chapters. Chapter 1 discusses the significance of the study and current situation of the study. Chapter 2 outlines the evolution of strategic management. Chapter 3 describes the value chain and value chain analysis. Chapter 4 carries out strategic management based on value chain analysis.
