With a comprehensive analysis, this study narrates the significance of informationalization in Planning Designing Institute under the tendency of social informationalization. In order to solve the problems of informationalization in Planning Designing Institute, the paper makes a mention on the thinking and policy of informationalization. In the part of applied research, with a example of Planning Designing Institute in Guilin, The paper analyzes and designs the basic construction of manage system, processing and organization using the method of manage science. A prototype system based on the models was implemented by using Browser/server technologies. The prototype system realized many key principles such as information-sharing, cooperation among staffs and system security.
