Suzhou Industrial Park Community Administration Study

The paper takes the community in Suzhou Industrial Park, a new-type community among Suzhou city communities,as the study object and gives a thorough exploration on the development and the present condition of the city community management in China, especially in Suzhou city; it makes a probe into the situation, the patterns and means, and the orientation of the community administrative management in Suzhou Industrial Park. According to the theory of government organization, the paper makes a comparison between the city community administrative management and the general one. It also analyzes the differences between the community administrative management in Suzhou Industrial Park and the one in Suzhou downtown area according to the theory of administrative ecology. Furthermore, it makes a deep study on the problem of resident self-government, which is closely connected to the community administrative management in Suzhou Industrial Park. The paper employs the principles of politics, sociology, administration science, and public management and adopts study methods such as document retrieval, social investigation, generalization and deduction, ecology, and comparative study. Thus, the paper makes a point that the way of organizing and managing in the community administrative management in Suzhou Industrial Park should be innovated and the management should be oriented to humanistic, self-governing, I ntegrated, and network management, and that the level of management can be improved by enhancing resident self-government in the community.
