The Use Of Modern Project Management Technology In The International Engineering Contracting Business

Having experienced more than two-decade development, the Chinese enterprises specialized in the international project contracting field have acquired the capability of contracting the large-scale international projects in various ways. However, with the enlargement in the project contracting field and the diversify in the contracting way, the development of the related Chinese enterprises has been severely challenged. Dealing with this situation, the article analyzes the current project management of the Chinese enterprises in the field of international project contracting and points out the existing problems in the process of project management which has restricted the progress of Chinese enterprises. Meanwhile, the article also puts forward the most effective solution to the problems, that is, firstly restructuring the enterprises and secondly practicing modern management technology so as to carry out the successful management of the project. Project management combines nine fields of knowledge including: scope management, time management, cost management, quality management, risks management, personnel management, procurement management, communication management and integrity management.
