| Criminal technique is the general term for the various measures and methods that are applied to criminal investigation, including such distinct specialties as trace expertise, documentary inspection, forensic physician, criminal chemical inspection, photography related to criminal investigation, etc. As a significant means of detecting and attacking criminals, it is carried out throughout the whole criminal procedure. With the social development and technological advancement, intelligentization of the criminals is getting more and more obvious, and the criminal offence tends to be violent, organizational and intelligent. In order to adapt to the new circumstances of crimes, and to control and crack down on crimes effectively, the scientific and technological content of criminal technique must be improved greatly. The criminal technique is advancing day by day, which enchances the scientific and technological content of criminal investigation, and offers scientific evidences to crack many difficult cases.The criminal technique major came into being with the development of criminal technique and the foudation of public security colleges and universities. In the last 20 odd years, it has trained a large quantity of specialists for our public security organnizations, thus playing an important role in criminal investigation and a decisive role in maintaining the stability of society and people 's lives.To meet the needs of social development, the teaching of criminal technique must be reformed constantly, only in this way the effective promotion of criminal techniques and the enhancement of the criminal investigation leve can be guaranteed powerfully.The focus of this thesis mainly lies in the study and analysis of the following five factors: teaching contents, teaching methods, laboratories construction, teachers and teaching evaluation patterns. The research method relies mainly on documents while making questionnaire investigations, interviwes, and observation subsidiary. In the light of the need of research, the author made a Auestionnaire on the Present Situation of Criminal Technique Teaching inPpublic Security Colleges on her own. 260 questionnaires were collected from 266 criminal technique majors in China Criminal Police College, Jiangsu Police Officer College and Shandong Public Security College.Judging from the current situation of criminal technique teaching in our public security colleges, there are still the following problems:Firstly, of teaching content. Emphasis is attached to the specialized education and the rudimentary education is ignored; specialized courses overlap each other and theextent and quantity of selective courses are not enough; the teaching content are not combined tightly with practice, without enough practice teaching.Secondly, of teaching method. Teachers are lack of conditional knowledge of pedagogy and psychology.Teaching method is so poor,and there is not competition in the lessons.Thirdly, of teachers. There not enough teachers of specialized courses and the teachers are lack of practice. On the other hand, the acadimic level of our teachers is not good.Fourthly, of lab construction. Investments are not enough and instruments are so old and poor.Finally, of teaching evalution. The means of examnation is too single and not normative.To solve the issues listed above, I think we should do many things to strengthen the teaching of criminal technique specialized courses.First of all, to optimize teaching contents.(1)to arrange the structure of lessons reasonablely.(2)to strengthen practice teaching.(3)to conduct comprehensive experiements so as to enchance the ability in actual combat.Secondly, to strengthen teacher ranks.(1)to strengthen the training of in-service teachers.(2)to encourage teachers to reform teaching methods.(3)to arrange teachers to practise criminal investigation.Thirdly ,to establish well-equipped subsidiary facilities for experiemt teaching.(1)to set up reasonable system of lab.(2)to train good lab ass... |
