The development of international cigarette has already entered relatively stable period and has formed the world cigarette market competition mode about leading transnational tobacco companies. Although the position of these tobacco companies can't be shaken, the diversification of the world tobacco market creates the development opportunity for a lot of new companies. Cigarette companies in China such as Changsha Cigarette Factory began to focus on the international tobacco markets in recent ten years. It is now in the certain phase of constant accumulation and study. The article is to research and analyze the way of Changsha Cigarette Factory exploring the international market by the combination method of theory and practice. I hope to summary the past experience and find the development tactics for the future.This article proceeds from characteristic of the international cigarette market to analyze the whole environment of cigarette market at first, for example the development of international market, competition situation of domestic market and the affect of relevant international organization. Analyzing the internationalized strategy about the transnational tobacco company is to find the reference for the development of domestic tobacco enterprise. As to Changsha Cigarette Factory, this paper analyzes emphatically current situation and primary matters about expanding international business and researches the basic strategy and tactic of internationalization, hi the last two parts, this article introduces two different tactics of Changsha Cigarette Factory exploring the cigarettes markets in America and South-east Asia. There are trade in USA and investment in Cambodia. The main concern is how to utilize the source of corporation furthest, accelerate accumulating and implement expanding strategy.
