Generally speaking, a certain corporate culture only functions well in a specific environment and condition, the changes of which leads to dysfunction of the culture, so it is necessary for leaders of an enterprise to reconstruct the corporate culture for survival and development.The fundamental and crucial goal of constructing the corporate culture is to achieve the employees' identification with uniform values which however are built within the framework of existing enterprise management system. Among various factors imposing influence on the formation and change of corporate culture, the most important is the mechanism of motivation.The mechanism of motivation, as a management method, is a standard used to judge values, and employees, based on the standard, monitor and modify their behavior in different situations. Different motivation patterns, representing different standards of judgment, results in distinct behaviors of employs, and thus the adaptation of values or the formation of new values in an enterprise.This thesis, through the analysis on the influence of motivation on corporate culture, underlines the important role of motivation in the formation and change of corporate culture, and attempts to discuss the impacts of different motivation patterns on reinforcing corporate cultures of different types. Based on theoretical analysis, the thesis offers to enterprise leaders helpful reference to choose effective motivation patterns to build the corporate culture.
