China's Urban And Tourism Development: The Formation Of ¡¤ Evolution Mechanism

The formation and succession of urban tourism is a long process, especially in China, which has a long and devious history. So there are some complicated characteristics of urban tourism of China. Based on the background of rapid progress of urban tourism in recent years, the research on the formation, succession and mechanism of urban tourism become more and more important for the development of urban tourism of China.Part 1 of the paper is an introduction of the research background, as well as the research on the urban tourism home and abroad is summarized. In part 2, based on the development of cities in different phases, the author tries to induce the characteristics of the formation and succession in the form of urban tourism of China. And then an elementary research that on the evolutive rules and mechanisms of urban tourism of China have been done in part 3. Part 4, therefore, combining the formation and succession of Guangzhou tourism, the paper puts forward some countermeasures for helping the development of Guangzhou tourism. At last the author advances the conclusions and innovative points of the paper, and prospects the research about it in the future.The main ideas and conclusions are as follows:(1) The development of urban tourism is based on the development of cities. And it can be divided into four phases of urban tourism of China, in which there are different characteristics.(2) The evolutive rules of urban tourism of China are as follows: 1) The exoteric extent of tourism notion is more and more swell; 2) The form of urban tourism renovate with the development of cities; 3) The layout of urban tourism inner and outer is from close and complanate to exoteric and tridimensional; 4) The sustaining system of urban tourism is from absent to as clear as a bell, and will reach a rational and advanced extent. 5) The social delamination of urban tourism is form stern to syncretic; 6) The evolvement tendency of urban tourism should be generalized as a curve of accumbent " S ", which present a course makes up of low-grade development, high-speed development and balanced development.(3) During the course of development of urban tourism of China, several mechanisms are manifested, which are driving mechanism, self-organize mechanism and innovate mechanism.(4) The thought and countermeasures of Guangzhou tourism should be put forward by the synthesis of rules and mechanisms state above paragraphs as well as the current conditions and developmental goals of Guangzhou city and Guangzhou tourism.
