Jiangsu Province Construction Corporation Management Information Planning Study

On the basis of research on the IT application of construction industry, the article tells the importance and possibility of utilizing IT technique to upgrade national construction industry and to improve enterprise competitive ability.To solve the practical problems on the operation of China Jiangsu Construction Corporation (CJCC), the article put forward the overall plan of building CJCC Management Information System. The system is based on project management with finance sub-system and cost management sub-system as the most important elements. The article also put forward the main methods that help build the system successfully.The article regards that the information system must be combined with BPR (Business Process Rebuilding). The process is not only a technical innovation but also a complete management reform. We must improve the management level to face the new challenges.
