Research On Information Management System Of Construction Project Management

This paper is based on the author's participation in the project on "information management system of construction project management" organized by PKPMCAD department, Chinese Institute Architecture Science, and the widely consultation on the literatures home and aboard.Contraposing the main problems existing in construction project management presently: awful in scientific capability, low in efficiency, modes of informational management in several key stages of the process of construction project management are studied carefully:[1] Measuring the information in quantity is the foundation of the construction of the information management system. A method of measuring the information in quantity,the work break structure (WBS), is introduced, and an analysis of how the WBS contributes to the comprehensive planning and comprehensive controlling is made.[2] Evaluating bidding is the main task of the project managers during the inviting public bidding stage and the bidding stage. A scientific method based on computer for evaluating bidding, which uses the analytic hierarchy process (AHP) to determine the weight of every indexes and uses the principle of fuzzy comprehensive evaluation to evaluate bidding and make decision, is proposed, with an engineer example following to demonstrate its application.[3] Contra posing the main abuse in traditional investment /schedule control method, the principle of the earned value concept (EVC) measurement in quantity universally in the international isintroduced to make conprehensive investment /schedule control.[4] Investment /schedule target risk analysis is a new demand to project managemeimt engineeis. A study of the main content of risk analysis of construction project management is made, and an elementary research on the application of computer simulation to the investment /schedule risk analysis is carried out.[5] The main content of information management system of construction project management isstudied, the dividing of its function modules, the function of every sub-system and logic structure chart are researched.[6] The whole process of development of sub system of data management is described in detail.
