The research work based on the sub-project "Software system and toolkit Support ASP(Application Service Provider) "and the project of "The research of agile virtual manufacturing technology ",the former is supported by National tenth five-year plan science and technology key project "The key technology and its application in manufacturing industry information", under grant No. 2001BA201A05,the later is supported by National committee of defence and industry,under grant No. Kl 800020502 ?The paper focuses on the selection and evaluation of network manufacturing resource. According to the present research, after analyzing the character of network manufacturing resource system, the author do the following works covered in the paper:1. Accroding to the grey theory.the paper first brings forward the viewpoint that the system of network manufacturing resource is a non-essence grey system,which has two characters of "non-completeness", and solves the problem by applying the Grey Relation Analysis.2 Improved the recongnition rule of Max fuzzy subordinative degree byreferring to the method of confidence degree in Possibility and statistics theory, which makes the evaluation result more accord with the people's experiential estimation.3 Example. Introduces the working flow of the developed system "NetworkManufacturing Resource Selection and Evaluayion-NMRSE", indicates someapplication figures about NMRSE system.Under the direction of the viewpoint that network manufacturing resource system is non-essence gray system, and according to these theory of AHP, gray theory, the improved fuzzy comprehensive evaluation, the author give a whole system of network manufacturing resource selection and evaluation. The system includes three parts, which is respectively Virtual Enterprise partner selection, Machine Tool selection and the evaluation of machine tool performance. At the end of the paper, it indicates the NMRSE system developed by Delphi and SQL-server toolkit.
