Change In The Functions Of Our Government In The Context Of Economic Globalization Research

Economic globalization is the main trend of the economic development across the world. Almost all countries are brought into this tide, whether they really want to or not. For the developing countries like China, economic globalization is a two-edged sword. It brings along not only great opportunities, but tough challenges as well. As the representative of the state interests, the government should play an active part and transform its function as requested.This paper is intended to study transformation of our government functions under economic globalization. It is divided into five parts. First, The author introduces the basic content about economic globalization, including related theories. Second, The influence on China is analyzed. Third, The author points out that the government should play a rightful role in economic globalization. Our government should transform its function to meet the needs. Fourth, efforts are focused on three factors which define the scope of governmental functions. In the last chapter, the author places emphasis on the transformation of the contents and methods of our governmental functions.
