| Social stratification exists in human' s life from ancient times to the present as an intrinsic phenomenon. The society in China is experiencing comprehensive and profound social changes. The tremendous changes of the structure and the mechanism of social stratification have taken place during the translational period, which play a positive and negative role in social development in China. We will make adjustments to our policies to deal with the problems, so that the social stratification in China is gradually reasonable.In the first part, the thesis discussed the meaning Norgin and trend of social stratification. The theoretical analysis of the two functions of social stratification is a basis on which the thesis told about the concrete conditions in China. In the second part, the thesis analysed the changes of social stratification in China during the translational period. They are the changes of the structure and the mechanism of social stratification respectively. In the third part, the thesis told about the positive role of the changes of social stratification to social development such as politics, economy and human development in China, then the thesis discussed the negative role in income disparity , inequality and urban and rural dichotomy. In the last part, the measures are put forward to make the social stratification reasonable in China. The structure and the mechanism of social stratification in China will be sound and reasonable by developing economy, urbanizing, narrowing income and so on. |
