Contemporary Terrorism To International Security

As an ancient political or social phenomenon, terrorism is long - stand-ing. And terrorism has been a global public hazard since the end of 1960s. The sphere of contemporary terrorism is not limited in the hot areas of the Mid-dle East, Western Europe or Latin American, but also to varying degree exists in other areas, and even sticks out in some countries or some areas. After "Cold War", terrorism activities are still frequent, and the extent of cruelty and injury of terrorism activities tends to be more serious. Since 1980s, our country has been threatened by terrorism.Confronted with the serious threat of contemporary terrorism to peace and security of the world, international society must strengthen understanding of the influence of contemporary terrorism on international security. And then interna-tional society just can guard against and attack terrorism more effectively. So it is positive to study the influence of contemporary terrorism on international se-curity. The study is positive for international society to defend international se-curity and promote world peace and development.This thesis analyses the concept of security firstly, and concludes that the concept of security is not limited to military security and political security in the traditional meaning any more, but pays closer attention to economic securi-ty, information security, environmental security, and so on. As the important composition of international security, military security, political security and economic security occupy an important place in the international security. So the thesis tries to analyze the influence of contemporary terrorism on interna-tional security in three aspects. At last the thesis clearly points out that inter-national society should strengthen governance of global terrorism conscientious-lyThe thesis makes some discussions in four parts. The first part analysesthe influence of contemporary terrorism on international political security. The second part expounds the influence of contemporary terrorism on international military security. The third part probes into the influence of contemporary ter-rorism on international economic security. The last part concludes that interna-tional society should strengthen governance of global terrorism conscientiously.
