High-tech Industrial Zone Innovation Network Innovation Network - On The Hangzhou Software Industry

In an area, the local behavior subjects, such as university, enterprise, scientific research institution and government etc. form a network system among them that can enhance the regional innovation capacity bases on their formal or non-formal cooperation and exchange of long period. The network system is called the regional innovation network. Based on a comprehensive literature review on high technology industry district from home and abroad, this article mainly focuses on the mechanism in the development of high technology districts in terms of regional innovation networks. Finally, based on the case studies of high technology districts-the Silicon Valley of USA, this article makes a empirical analysis about regional innovation network of software industry district of Hang Zhou.The article will comprise five chapters:Capterl, Introduce. The theoretical context and structure of this thesis are given in brief.Capter2, Literature review on high technology industry districts and expound regional innovation networks from basic concept, basic functions.Capter3, An empirical study. Taking software industry of Hang Zhouas the case, I tried to reveal the function of individual actors(enterprise, university and research institutions, government, etc)Whthin this area in the innovation process, on the basis of questionnaire and in-depth interview with local entrepreneurs.
