Modern Logistics Center Location Decision-making Research

From 1950's, logistics has developed rapidly and gradually become the third benefit fountain as the development of the economic globalization and the release of traffic rule of law. In order to promote the rationalization of logistics, we should focus on the research of the location theory of logistics center, the process, and the method.Firstly "introduce" and "logistics and logistics center summarization" is put forward in this paper. "Introduce" includes the backgrounds of logistics and logistics center, the study meaning, the study content, the study method, the main contribution and innovation, "logistics and logistics center summarization" includes the definition of logistics center, the classification, the function, the economic value, the difference and relation of logistics center and logistics park and distribution center, the relation of logistics center and supply chain. All that pushes the way for the following text.Secondly, this paper constructs a decision-making model of logistics center location. In this model, a location criterion is composed of the rationality of policies, the convenience of traffic, the rationality of economy, the competition, and the continuance.Thirdly, this paper presents a systemic and structural decision-making process for enterprise to engage in logistics center location. Through such a systematic and structural process enterprises can improve the quality of decisions.Fourthly, the integration of fuzzy evaluation and nonlinear programming mathematic model is proposed as a tool that can effectively handle the qualitative and quantitative factors that influence the location of logistics center.At last, this paper gives a demonstration through the simulation of Zhejiang Chuanhua logistics center Co., Ltd. This simulation shows how to locate a logistics center in practice and verifies the location of the Chuanhua logistics center.
