Computer-aided Product Development Process Modeling System

With more and more intense market competition, the enterprise must comprehensively enhance the competitive ability in order to survival and development. Enterprise competitive ability is determined by enterprise's core process, "the product development process" is one of essential core processes. Therefore, it has the extremely vital significance to the enterprise to strengthen the product development process management. Product development process modeling is a scientific method of perceiving product development process. The research of product development process is focused on product development process modeling. In the process project activity, the process outline design, the detailed design, the project experiment site, the process implementation and the monitoring as well as the process evaluation all propose to the product development modeling demand.The paper summarize the domestic and foreign processes modeling actuality and the development tendency, and analyzed the advantages and disadvantage of the relative modeling methods, in view of the mechanical and electrical product development process, conducted the research and the discussion of Computer Aided Product Development Process Modeling System(CAPDPMS).Based on the requirement analysis of CAPDPMS, we designed the general structure and the database of the system, set up the functional model, and completed the system software development. The system supports the product development process and the process information comprehensive description, and provides the powerful support to realized the product development process integrated management.Finally, unified the new product development project - "the micro intelligent reading system design" to conduct the applied research, we has obtained a good effect.
