Fujian Regional System Coordination Of Development Research And Countermeasures

Sustainable development is a global strategy to correctly handle relations among population, natural resources, economy, environment and society (PREES) in 21 century. It is the necessary way to get sustainable existence and development in the future for the people. At present, though the concept of sustainable development is approved by all country around the world, the strategy of sustainable development is not carried out effectively on the grounds of economic goal and material wealth, and humanity still faces many problems such as natural resources, environment and ecology that hold back the sustainable development. This situation may have something to do with the uncoordinative development among PREES. So, this paper analyses some questions about coordinative development. The paper construction and main is as follows:Part I . Introduction to the idea of sustainable developmentThis part presents the study background, research goals and methods, particularly the idea of the sustainable development. It is the guide of this paper.Part II. Theory about coordinative development in regional systemThis part firstly introduces some theory of regional development and some mathematic models of coordinative development, and comments on them shortly. Then, discussing some concepts such regional system, coordinative development and so on. Next, presenting some methods and mathematic models about coordinative development, for example PCA, AHP and econometric method. In the last of this part, giving the indexes system of coordinative development.Part III. Empirical analysis on coordinative development of Fujian provinceFirst of all, this part describes the outline of Fujian province, including its population, natural resources, environment, economy and society. Then based on the theory and methods presented in Part II, some empirical analysis on coordinative development of Fujian province is done in this section.Part IV. Some probes about coordinative development from CAS and SWARMThis part introduces complex adaptive system (CAS) theory and SWARM simulation platform firstly. Then, giving a simulation frame of coordinative development of Fujian province. And last, discussing a game model from three viewpoints.Part V .Some countermeasures of coordinative development for Fujian provinceIn this part, firstly discussing some questions and conflicts during the economic and social development of Fujian province. And then, giving some measures individually among PREES.Part VI.SummaryThis part sums up the paper.
