Software Enterprises Competitiveness Evaluation Study

The software industry is a strategic industry that is crucial for a country' s international competition station in twenty-first century. Competitiveness study is one of the problems that the domestic scholars focus on. In most of home and overseas literatures about competitiveness, the studies about competitiveness measurement focus on the general enterprises, but there is no method of enterprise competitiveness measurement in the industry. Besides, theses studies emphasize qualitative analysis and constructing the indexes of competitiveness measurement. However, there is a problem that the result of indexes system cannot be united. So it is provided with the science value and practical meaning to quantitate the software enterprise competitiveness.Competitiveness measurement belongs to the quantitative analysis of enterprise theories. The paper discussed and analyzed the domestic and overseas main enterprise competitiveness theories, pointed out their deficiencies expounded the paper' s meaning, and restricted the scope of the study to the software industry. Then the paper defines the software enterprises, analyzes the affecting factors of their competitiveness from the angle of value chain and gives the value chain of the software enterprises. When the paper selected each tache indexes of the value chain, the fuzzy theory was introduced into so that the model the paper put forward was quantitated. So it is able to compare with two different software enterprises' competitiveness. Finally, the paper selected two software enterprises in Dalian and demonstrated the model. Then the paper gives then some advance. The conclusions of the paper are as follows:(1)Draws the outline of the software enterprises value chain and gives the indexes of each tache of the value chain.(2)Resolves the problem that the indexes cannot be united in many literatures about the competitiveness study.(3)Puts forward the model of quantitating the software enterprises competitiveness.(4)Gives a direction for quantitating the universal enterprises competitiveness.
