Investment Bank's Core Competitiveness And Nurturing

This dissertation, after introducing the theoretical origin, basic intension and characters of core competence , starts with analyzing the five characters of investment banks and with the direction of the theory of core competence, uses the scientific method to analyze and study the core competence of investment banks. The conclusion is that the core competence includes investment bankers management system and reputation .On the background ,aiming to build up, from micro angle, the competitive advantage of Chinese investment banks,it does the comparison about the core competence between the Chinese investment banks and the foreign ones to find the difference of the Chinese ones.On the basis of these conclusions, the paper ,thinking of the practical condition of Chinese investment banking, goes on studying the issue of the cultivation of the core competence of Chinese investment banks. The conclusion is that it includes five measures : cultivation of investment bankers,financial innovation ,construction of management systems ,use of trading strategy foundation of reputation.Finally, the paper does the analysis of cases of ZhongXin Security Co. Ltd.
