Large Domestic Retail Business, Inventory Control Model

Recently, enterprise operators and managers, especial logistics managers are paying more and more attention to inventory and its management. Some scholars even describe logistics management as management of static or moving inventory. Although there is much research on manufacturing plant's inventory, less is concerned on inventory of retailing incorporation. In thii paper, focuses are on inventory management of retailing incorporation. According to characteristic of retailing incorporation and the product it sates, its inventory control is analyzed in this paper.Firstly, the concept and role of inventory and its control are analyzed; then, the circumstance of domestic retailing incorporation, problem of inventory control under the circumstance of supply chain and retailer deciding independently are analyzed. And then, the rational solutions are propoied after analyzed in detail.Several models are used to settle questions, among which, sortie are modified that has being existed for years, some are summarized from actual economic circumstance and some are educed by applying economic knowledge and computer techniques, More over, some measures have been proved effective, but in actual circumstance that can't be popularized.
