This thesis includes foreword, main body composed of five parts and endwords.In foreword,I simplify the concept,latest developments and competic state of retail banking. In the same time, transforms of competic strategy in retail banking for baak-of-china, the theme of this thesis is mentioned in this part.In the first and second parts.using SWOT analysis method, I study the relevant exterior environment, oneself term in retail banking for bank-of-china and study with the system of the latent rivals. Summarize special feature and developing trend of competic strategy in retail banking for bank-of-china. examine a patient competic strategy in retail banking for bank-of-china research about strength, weakness, opportunity and threaten .In the third part,I ptally up key problems of competic strategy in retail banking for bank-of-china and combine the deep layer in proceeding analyzes.In the fourth and fifth parts,I get a conclusion after drawing lessons from the successful experience of Citibank in retail banking : as one of the four big state-owned commercial banks, coming from the establishing the competitive advantage and adapting to the demand that business enterprise the whole developing strategy, bank-of-china ought to be clear about seeking of value, developing the comparison competitive advantage, adjusting and optimizing the construction, evading the risk, understanding thoroughly the first timing in the market, developing the retail banking business strongly, bank-of-china must adjust traditional competic strategy mode in retai banking scientificly and establish new retail mode at the same time, passing to create a series of strategy in etc. In" three greatest core competencieses" and raise the act , facing to noble customers whom would be served in different forms, push transforms of competic strategy in retail basking for bank-of-china completely.
