Comprehensive Evaluation, Based On Principal Component Analysis

The comprehensive evaluation question involves a lot of fields, such as economy, politics, society, etc., a synthetized evulation value was created using lots of evaluation index values through certain models, and the method about evulation question is founded successfully. But human factors can not be eliminated in a lot of comprehensive evaluation methods. As one of most important statistical methods, principal component analysis (PCA) can not only turn many index questions into less overall targets, but also provide the comparatively objective weight. This paper analyses the deficiency and methods for correcting in PCA, and the approaches of PCA are improved greatly, then main PCA's methods and steps are formed Therefore, the comprehensive evaluation theory is analysed on the basis of the pincipal component analysis, and the comparatively perfect appraisal methods and steps are set up.The differentiation between PCA and other comprehensive evaluation methods is also given. Finally, combining the practical problem of public company in traffic and transportation industry, the comprehensive appraisal is carried out in detail.
