Agile Supply Chain Environment, The Ibm Strategic Vendor Evaluation Study

With the development of global economy, international market and e-business, the competitive environment of enterprise has changed very much. The competition has changed from product and service to culture, technology and brand. The competition of single enterprise has been changed to the supply chain of enterprise group. The enterprise should search and evaluate the strategic supplier based on supply chain management to improve competitive advantage. This has become an advanced topic of modern management science.This paper introduces the operation model of agile supply chain management and analyses the supplier relationship change under the circumstance, then describe the importance of strategic supplier relationship from the aspect of risk and benefit. The key point of this paper is evaluation of strategic supplier, comparison of the normal toll of supplier evaluation. Finally, the IBM (shenzhen) PC plant is researched as an example. The market environment and problem of current supplier management was analyzed, and relevant proposal is made.The main evolution points of this paper are: research the supplier evaluation under the strategic collaboration background and analysis the risk and benefit. And make an operational strategic supplier evaluation model.
