Based On B / S Inventory Management Information Systems Research And Development

With the development of Web technology and the sharp increase of the demand of modem management, the MIS (Management information system) based on C/S (Client/Server) can't accommodate the high speed and wide application of data operation and data processing. The enterprise management information system based on B/S (Browser/ Server) has become popular. It is easy to develop, manage and maintenance the web application. But there are also some problems, such as the difficulty to reuse the code and recombine the system. So, we study and exploit the inventory management information system based on B/S in this paper.In the paper, according to the detailed investigation on inventory business of one of enterprise manufacturing multi-variety and small-batch production, we first analyze the status of inventory management and the demand of user, set up the function model and the information model of the system. Then we analyze the traditional three layers system structure based on B/S model, set up more layers and distributing system structure. Finally, we develop the system using component and Web Service technology in order to enhance the efficiency of software developing.We use .NET as the development platform and OSCAR as the database management system to build up Inventory Management Information System. This system has been used in the LanLing factory of Academy of Aerospace Solid Propulsion Technology.
