Dpes New Product Project Development Process Management

Management of new product development process has been important approaches to increase competitive power of automotive manufacturing enterprises, while both the ideas of process management and the tools of management can't satisfy the demand of most of automotive manufacturing supplier at present. The primary object of the thesis is new product development process base on DPES company, and its main contents are as follows:DPES is one of the biggest automotive manufacturing suppliers in Europe and North America. Firstly, after the state of quality management system and methods of advanced product quality planning in oversea automobile manufacturing enterprises is introduced, the whole architecture of process management theory and stage gate management theory. New product development process of DPES is taken as a concrete example and optimized by applying the advanced ideas of management mentioned above, as traditional functionalized organization management is transformed into process-oriented management and post control is transformed into planned control, to improve the quality of product development, shorten the period of it, reduce development expense and satisfy the needs of customers more.Then the author set up the architecture of new product development process base on stage gate management approach, which integrates project management and workflow management (examination and approval flow & change procedure), and surveys its component objects, attributes and their relations. It makes one short cut for domestic automobile supplier to learn NPD from the foreign biggest automotive manufacturing enterprises. Meanwhile, provides the architecture for research of NPD.Next, the key technologies of NPD is studied sequentially, which model founding of NPD project, process management technologies basing on BOM and project risk management are studied in detail.At last, taking Tll project of DPES as the example, the author presents the cases and the effects of the process management and stage gate management of NPD to verify the above research.
